Hunting fanatics around the world are always looking for new terrain to explore during the hunt for their prey. As hunter gatherers have done for years, it’s crucial to track the land and move with your prey. Animals move across land masses in search of where the food is and the hunters like you have to do the same thing.
With this being said, a hunter who has spent the last 3 years hunting the same land and has found wonderful success in the plenty of wildlife around might find that upon their revisiting to the land for the 4th year, the game has all but disappeared and it’s time to find new destinations.
If you’re a hunting fanatic who doesn’t mind taking a journey across new lands to find what you’re looking for, here are 3 destinations you need to visit:
Alaska
Alaska is God’s country. The state is the biggest state in the U.S., and most of it is untouched, pristine, national forest protected land. If you’re a hunting fanatic who loves gathering up tools to explore lands unknown, Alaska is the first place that you need to go. You’ll have to do some research to figure out what places in Alaska are fair game to hunt, and you’ll have to operate within the right seasons for the right animals, but since you’re a seasoned hunter, you understand the regulations of the business.
Tanzania
If you’re tired of hunting for game that is all too familiar to you because you’ve grown up hunting the same thing year after year, you might consider making the trip over to the African country of Tanzania. The country is known as “African Hunter’s Paradise”, so if you head over, you’re sure to find exactly what it is you’re looking for.
You’re going to find a lot of large game and exotic species, so it’s a thrill as well as a new experience. If you actually make a kill, you’ll have to figure out how to get your meat back home, but it sure is a bucket list destination for all hunting fanatics.
Uruguay
Again, if you love the hunt and are open to catching some prey that is different than what you’re used to, you might want to check out Uruguay. There is a wide variety of things to hunt within the country and it’s a less popular destination than other countries, so the competition will be less.
It’s a great place to hunt for ducks, pigeons, and doves, and the fishing is out of this world. To any hunter, the reason that the hobby is so exciting is because there are so many adventures to experience within it. You’re exploring beautiful lands, you’re disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of the modern world, and you’re getting your fill of so many different things; so if you’re one who loves the hunt, add travel to these countries to the bucket list. You won’t regret it.
