Google Chrome is steadily improving.
In a recent test performed recently by PC Magazine, Google’s browser showed further improvements in its Javascript performance based on the Sunspider benchmark. It has also become faster and more compatible with more websites, including Facebook.
Chrome’s speed improvement was pegged at 24 percent, putting it on par with the second beta of Firefox 3.1. Compatibility is still the main issue for Chrome with a number of websites, including Microsoft Office Live, putting out “unsupported browser” messages when users use it to access the sites.
Chrome is also trailing the browser pack in terms of memory usage, consuming the most RAM among all of the browsers tested.
