I think Dell has probably made the best looking ultraportable computer in the market today. The company’s upcoming product, called the Dell E, will have an 8.9 inch screen.
What is more surprising though is that Dell plans to release a whole family of computers under the E line that is aimed at different sectors in the market. Aside from the Dell E there will also be an E Slim that will have a 12.1 inch screen and is 0.8 inches thick. This is seen as the competitor to the MacBook Air. the Dell E, on the other hand, will go head-to-head with the Asus EEE. The E Slim will also be fitted out with Wimax shortly after it is released.
But that’s not all. Dell will also feature other notebooks like the E Classic, E Video, and E Video+. These variants will have more RAM, flash storage, bluetooth and webcam. This is a great way of really addressing market demand and hopefully the prices will reflect a more consumer friendly level. As it is, the Dell E may be offered starting at $299.
