The first handheld Pico projector is about to be released on the market.
Optoma is releasing the Optoma Pico Projector that is based on DLP’s Pico chipset. The very small device can project an image up to 100 times larger than the source device–smartphones, iPods, and digital cameras. The device is so small that it can actually fit inside a shirt pocket. This is a great device for adhoc meetings where you need to display images that must be seen by a lot of people. I’m quite interested in getting this because it will really help me conduct meetings on the fly. The 4-ounce device will be distributed initially in Europe and Asia.
