A few months ago I talked about this friend who rigged his ASUS EEE to run the Mac OS.
Yesterday I met up with this friend again and he showed me his latest project– Hackintosh MSI Wind. I had to pick my jaw from the floor with what I saw. This was a near-perfect hack. The Mac OS was running smoothly and was quite robust. I didn’t notice any lag whatsoever. The only issue was that the microphone, and audio jacks were not working. This seems to be a driver issue though and hopefully it will be resolved soon.
Right now I’m seriously considering selling my ASUS EEE and replacing it with an MSI Wind.
