I took this picture about 5:30 pm today. This sign and highly explosive area is less then one mile away from my house.
I’ve taken other pictures of cool signs in my area which I’ll post soon.

SAN FRANCISCO (Business 2.0 Magazine) – Burst.com, a two-person Internet video company, has sued Apple, claiming that its iTunes and QuickTime software violate Burst’s patents.
Techdirt says the move was expected after Apple (Research) filed suit earlier this year to have the court declare Burst’s patents invalid.
Last year, Burst brought a patent-infringement lawsuit about Internet video delivery against Microsoft (Research), settling the case for $60 million after alleging that Microsoft tried to crush the company.
Both Burst and Apple have hired big legal guns, setting this up to be a case the likes of which we haven’t seen since NTP sued Research In Motion (Research) over the BlackBerry.

Poking around the Internet this afternoon I came across this story:
Hairdresser Sentenced For Stealing Kevin Costner’s Laptop
The hairdresser who stole Kevin Costner’s Apple laptop computer has been sentenced to two years of unsupervised probation, 25 hours of community service and ordered to pay $1,500 in restitution, according to a report from Colorado Tuesday.
The computer was stolen when the movie star was married to Christine Baumgartner in Aspen in 2004. Hairdresser Pascal Bensimon pleaded guilty to charges Monday and was given the sentence immediately.
The Apple computer contained photos of the wedding, according to the Vail (Colo.) Daily newspaper. The hairdresser had been hired to style wedding guests’ hair.
Ok, so this hairdresser was hired to style the guests’ hair at Kevin’s wedding. What I want to know is why was Kevin’s laptop getting a haircut anyway? and why would he leave such a valuable piece of equipment just sitting around for the taking?!
I mean, come on, water isn’t good for laptops and I’m sure hair gel isn’t good for them either. Crazy. Moral of the story, don’t leave your laptop unattended for any reason.
