Yesterday I decided after much delay and just plain being lazy to start going through boxes in my garage.

Some of these boxes haven’t been opened in at least two years.

At first glance, all I saw was a pile of heavy, dusty boxes which made me remember why I’ve put this off for so long but once I started moving the boxes around I was thinking about some of the things I’ve been missing and thought were lost forever.

About 10 minutes into my cleaning adventure, I came across a box with what looked like a bunch of trash and loose papers inside.

As I start digging through piles of stuff, I find some very important business files, two business card holders jam packed with 100’s of client names and numbers I thought were gone forever… so this made me very happy…

I’m about 40% through the boxes now. I have a lot more to do but now I’m motivated to continue on. Who knows what else I’ll find…

Google Holds 75 Percent Of U. K. Search Market

Google continued its dominance of the U.K. search engine market, garnering three of every four online searches there during February, according to survey data announced Friday by WebSideStory.The Mountain View, California based search firm enjoys market share dominance in Europe that surpasses its U.S. position, where it nevertheless typically records a market share of more than 50 percent.

Missing Glass Door Prank

I received an email from a good friend of mine this evening with the following:

Remove the glass from the doors of a busy mall and what do you get? A hilarious prank! Watch as these poor people go to push a door open only to get a handful of air and a face full of awkward. This is such a simple prank to pull off and you get a great reaction.

Microsoft Plans Two Patches Next Week

Reading my daily tech reports, Microsoft has announced it will be releasing two patches next week. They always release patches the second Tuesday of the month. I like to call it update Tuesday.

The updates will patch Office and Windows XP. Any of my readers who use Windows, be sure to grab these updates next week, your computer is depending on you.

The Simpsons come to life

Poking around the internet this afternoon, I came across a news story about the makers of the hit cartoon The Simpsons filming the show’s opening titles using real actors.

Since I’m a huge Simpsons fan, I checked it out. All I can say is WOW. They did a great job.
