A former Microsoft developer recently signed a preliminary contract that has nothing to do with software.
Charles Simonyi, who oversaw the development of some of Microsoft’s most widely-used programs, has signed up with Russia’s space agency to become a the fourth U.S. space tourist to go to the International Space Station, according to Russian news agency RIA Novosti. The news service reported the development Monday.
How cool would that be to go to the International Space Station? I would love the chance to do it but I bet it costs in the six figures to even get a reservation for a trip to the space station.
